Synopsis: This was the original Listserve for the Color Computer and was very active during the CoCo's heyday. Next to Compuserve and Delphi this was the place to find out about the CoCo. Eventually the list lost its sponsor at princeton, but continued on autopilot for a number of years. Eventually Bit.listserv.coco and the pucc.princeton.edu list become spam-filled (due to there no longer being a moderator), so an alternative list and newsgroup were made available in October 2003 by Dennis Bathory Kitsz from his maltedmedia.com domain.
Note: The listserve also had a file capability and you could request files from a repository. The files in the archives from the CoCoList are in CUTS format (Encoded so they can be transmitted via e-mail.) This was before e-mail had the capability to transfer binary packages.
